On a hot August night

We are quite warm here in the Pacific Northwest.  Feels good even if it is a bit too warm for comfort for a lot of people.  It won't last so we need to enjoy the heat. 

I have finished quilting a quilt top that was given to me for Quilts of Valour by Susan. A great use of her leftover, scrappy strips. 

And, since my cupboard is bare, I have made more hourglass blocks for the maple leaf blocks that I have had sitting here since spring 2011 plus the blocks handed to me at our guild meetings. Again, I thank Marge for the inspiration for this setting.

And, a few more pillowcases made for the Quilts of Valour that were picked up by someone from CFB Chilliwack last week.
